How to install Oracle 10g database on windows machine.

Today I will talk about how to install Oracle SQL 10g database in windows.

10g is no longer exist on oracle website so I save it on my google drive you can download it from

after download extract it with right mouse button and click "Extract Here", make sure you have installed WinRAR latest version on your machine.

after "Extract" go to folder and right click on "Setup",

Go to Properties and select "Compatibility",

Check box "Run This Program in compatibility mod for"

and select "Windows EX(Service Pack 2)",

and also check "Run this Program as an administrator",

click Apply and run the "setup.exe".

select you location where you want to install database

give a "Global Database Name" if you want

or "orcl" default is fine.

give main password and confirm it by again type in "Confirm Password", this password can use for your main database users

like "SYSTEM", "SYS", "SYSMAN" and "DBSNMAP".

click next

select "Yes"

click on install
